Alan B. Krueger

Alan B. Krueger (1960–2019) was an American economist and the James Madison Professor of Political Economy at Princeton University. He served as the Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Economic Policy and later chaired the White House Council of Economic Advisers under President Barack Obama. Beyond his government service, he was a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research.
