D. H Lawrence

David Herbert Lawrence was an English novelist, poet, playwright, essayist, and painter. His modernist works, including Sons and Lovers and Lady Chatterley's Lover, explore themes of social alienation and industrialization. Known for his radical portrayals of sexuality and instinct, several of his most prominent novels were the subject of censorship trials during his career.
