Gabriele Munter

Gabriele Münter was a German expressionist painter and a central figure of the Munich avant-garde during the early 20th century. A founding member of the Der Blaue Reiter group, she worked across various mediums including painting, drawing, and photography. Her career was defined by her significant contributions to the development of expressionism and her long-standing association with Wassily Kandinsky.
