James Edward Gordon

James Edward Gordon (1913–1998) was a materials scientist and biomechanical engineer recognized as a foundational figure in both fields. He served as a professor of materials science at the University of Reading and authored three influential books on structures and materials. His academic works have been translated into numerous languages and remain in use at schools and universities worldwide.
