Judith N. Shklar

Judith N. Shklar was a Latvian-born American philosopher and political theorist recognized for her extensive study of the history of political thought, particularly the Enlightenment period. She served as a university teacher and was appointed the John Cowles Professor of Government at Harvard University in 1980. Her academic work remains a significant contribution to the fields of political science and political philosophy.
