Robert A. Heinlein
Robert Anson Heinlein (1907–1988) was an American science fiction author, engineer, and naval officer. Often referred to as the dean of science fiction writers, he was a pioneer of the hard science fiction subgenre who emphasized technical accuracy and critical thinking. His influential body of work challenged social conventions and helped establish science fiction as a mainstream literary force during the mid-twentieth century.
