Sir Banister Fletcher

Sir Banister Flight Fletcher was an English architect, barrister, and architectural historian. He followed in the professional footsteps of his father, also named Banister Fletcher. Together, they authored the influential textbook A History of Architecture, a foundational reference work in the field that is frequently referred to simply as Banister Fletcher.
